{ Basic Raid Concept }
Raid
You have two sides, attackers & defenders. It's held on a Free for All gametype normally with minor modifications such as unlimited score, time, & ammo (Not bottomless clip). The defenders are the ones who control the base. In almost every scenario defenders have to hold off the base against the attackers. If there are normally 2 or more inside, the base is contested. Defenders would have access to better weapons since they'll need it to defend their base, attackers in some cases may have some gear such as warthogs & maybe a precision weapon. Defenders have an advantage since they have more to lose in the event the attackers manage to takeover the base. There are several variations of raids such as normal, Naval based, & Barebone. Raids in general typically last an hour.
Open Raid
Unofficial raids conducted on the open file browser available for anyone to join. Normally it's not required to be fair let alone possible in rare occasions to take a stronghold. Normally it's used to either serve as a shooting gallery or a first step to get your feet wet. Most of the time raiders who join are disorganized therefore making it easy pickings for the defenders who are normally the ones hosting the open raid.
Scheduled Raid
Unlike Open Raids, Scheduled Raids have an established ROE (Rules of Engagement) established once both parties discussed them prior. These types of raids are commonly known as external raids.
Misc.
In the event you get killed while defending a base, you run back to base immediately even if it means fighting your way back. Ideally it's better to draw minimal attention whist making your way back.
